CMS’ change of heart 

A really wacky — and wonky — thing happened last week. My colleague, Daniel Payne, and I wrote about a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services notice that the agency was halting all Medicare payments to doctors during the government shutdown. (I won’t attempt to explain the details here. Read our article to learn more.)
