Each of the photographs below represents a life — or lives — profoundly affected by the events of 2025. Others represent hope — in the form of promising new treatments for cancer, addiction, and rare diseases. There are also stories of bravery — a young man speaking publicly about mental health struggles or a veteran raising concerns about wastefulness in the Trump administration.
