Did Pfizer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statnews.com\/2025\/11\/10\/pfizer-metsera-obesity-drugs-risks\/\" rel=\"noopener\">overpay<\/a> for the\u00a0obesity biotech Metsera? It\u2019s probably still too early to tell, but we have some new data this morning.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-need-to-know-this-morning\">The need-to-know this morning<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n<strong>Pfizer<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statnews.com\/2026\/02\/03\/pfizer-obesity-weight-loss-drug-monthly-metsera-pf3944-met097\/\" rel=\"noopener\">reported weight-loss results<\/a> for a monthly GLP-1 obesity injection that it acquired as part of the $10 billion Metsera transaction.
