Cassidy has taken the lead for his party<\/a> on keeping Kennedy in line on immunization policy.\u00a0 During Kennedy\u2019s confirmation hearings to be Health and Human Services Department secretary, Cassidy challenged Kennedy\u2019s false assertions about vaccines directly and forcefully.
