<\/p>\nGlobal technology consultancy Accenture<\/a> has arranged to buy CyberCX<\/a>, one of Australia\u2019s largest cybersecurity companies. The deal represents Accenture\u2019s largest cybersecurity acquisition to date, and is expected to significantly bolster the company\u2019s cybersecurity services in the Asia\u2013Pacific region.<\/p>\n CyberCX was established in Melbourne in 2019 and has grown to employ around 1400 professionals across Australia and New Zealand. The company operates a network of security operations centres across the two countries.<\/p>\n Services on offer include offensive security and cyber physical security, crisis management, threat intelligence, and managed detection and response, as well as strategic advisory, identity, cloud and network security.<\/p>\n CyberCX also operates AI-powered platforms that deliver security services including threat detection and response, as well as the CyberCX Academy for training and education. The company meanwhile offers accreditation under the Infosec Registered Assessors\u2019 Program. CyberCX has an ecosystem of partnerships across companies including Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks and CrowdStrike.<\/p>\n Accenture Cybersecurity Global Lead Paolo Dal Cin said the company plans to leverage the acquisition to offer advanced security capabilities.<\/p>\n \u201cCyberCX and Accenture share a mission to harness the power of cyber to help our clients securely navigate change, accelerate business reinvention and build resilience against evolving threats,\u201d he said.\u00a0\u201cBy combining Accenture\u2019s agentic AI capabilities with CyberCX\u2019s strong market leadership, innovative offerings and trusted C-suite and government relationships, we will enable clients across Asia\u2013Pacific to transform cybersecurity into a strategic advantage.\u201d<\/p>\n CyberCX CEO John Paitaridis added that the company is \u201cimmensely proud\u201d to have become one of the top providers of security services in Asia\u2013Pacific.<\/p>\n \u201cJoining Accenture\u2019s global cybersecurity organisation enables our exceptional people to combine forces with global capabilities and provide world-leading cybersecurity services to an even greater number of clients across Asia\u2013Pacific as we accelerate our growth in the region,\u201d he said. \u201cOur shared mission for helping clients stay ahead of emerging threats and build resilience makes this a force multiplier.\u201d<\/p>\n Accenture has completed 20 security acquisitions since 2015 as it moved to expand its cybersecurity capabilities.<\/p>\n The deal remains subject to regulatory approvals. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.<\/p>\n
