A really wacky \u2014 and wonky \u2014 thing happened last week. My colleague, Daniel Payne, and I wrote about a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services notice that the agency was halting all Medicare payments to doctors during the government shutdown. (I won\u2019t attempt to explain the details here. Read our article<\/a> to learn more.)\u00a0<\/p>\n
