Republicans don\u2019t agree among themselves on a proposal, and Democrats don\u2019t like any of the Republican ideas.<\/p>\n<p>Congress has 13 days in session before a likely Dec. 15 vote on legislation to extend extra pandemic-era premium subsidies for ACA plans. That\u2019s also the deadline for people to pick a plan if they want their coverage to start at the beginning of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh we\u2019re not going to get it done this year,\u201d Sen.
